Question : I am 63 and have been on antidepressents for years changing from one to another i now feel as if i am on a flat line no high no lowes and i at a loss what to do

What i mean is i am not crying and i am not laughing just feel flat dont get happy medium just get home from work and dont want to do anything just been away for 4 days but i cant remember when i had a real belly laugh dont want clean my house or do anything to it i used to clean when i git annoyed but dont get like that anymore

I am sorry to know that despite the trial of multiple antidepressants there is no break through response and you are still dealing with loss of emotional reactivity and anhedonia and amotivation.
Although I am sure that your psychiatrist must have done everything possible on the earth to make you better but I still recommend following things.
Use pristiq as antidepressant. In my experience I have seen great results in post menopausal women with depression and hope that same gets repeated for you.
In case this has already been tried I feel adding modafinil 100 mg to your current treatment may help you. This is a kind of medication which helps in emotions and motivation. It also helps in apathy which seems to be most bothering aspect of your illness.
