Noticed The Worst Case Of Acne After The Intake Of Medicines
I have been on Adderall, Nuvigil and Provigil for approx. 3-4 months and have developed the worst case of acne (I guess acne, never had it before). I have multiple pus-type lesions, increased oil and ingrown hairs develop into a nightmare. My dermatologist is not con viced it s due to meds, however, she put me on Doxycycline x 1 mo and clindamycin lotion. I have another appt. on Tues because it is worse. On meds due to sleep apnea and idiopathic hypersomnia. Thanks - sorry thought I got 1 free question, don t have $ today, pending disability claim and not working, thanks anyway

As per your query you have acne on face and you taking medications which are not benefiting you is because your condition is recurrent and pores under the hair follicle gets blocked. I would suggest you to wash you face 2-3 times a day with mild soap and warm water to prevent the accumulation of oil, dust and bacteria on your face.
Start Clindamycin gel. Avoid greasy creams, use water based products. Don't pick or touch acne. If acne still persists consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe ointments containing benzoyl peroxide and may prescribe antibiotics.
