Brief Answer:
Symptomatic treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using HCM.

I went through your query and understood your concerns.

Its a viral infection affecting lungs. Infection of lungs is known as pneumonia. As a result of infection in lungs, body's response against infection is inflamation which is seen in x ray and CT as densities.

Yes viral infection can spread to close contacts. Precautions to reduce speed to others like use of face mask to cover nose and mouth is helpful. Adequate ventilation in your room is also going to reduce spread of infection to others.

For most of viral infection treatment is to relieve symptoms. antiviral medications not required. Usually infection will reduce in a week. Antibiotics are recommended to prevent secondary bacterial infection. Warm salt water gargling and steam inhalation are helpful. Nebulization if difficulty in breathing present. Medications to reduce fever and expectorant syrup to clear secretions in chest.

Hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask further related query. I will be glade to answer them.

Wish you a speedy recovery.

Regards
