Question : Multiple itchy swellings over body

Hi Doctor,
I have observed multiple itchy bumps over my body - hands, hip area, behind left ear and alo a swelling of the right ear lobe.

additional information:
- have been taking a new medication - nucoxia 90 for last 3 days
- allergic to sulpha , brufen, nimesulide

-Kindly let me know the duration since you have these itchy bumps?

-Are there any other family members affected?

-Is the itching more at particular time of the day? night?

-Do you also have itching/ bumps at other places apart from those that you mentioned i.e over abdomen, arms, thigh area or genital areas?

Hi Doctor,

thanks for your response. I have uploaded 6 images.

Also,
I have had these for 2 days.
none of my family members have it
I feel itchy throughout the day
no other places where I have itching/bumps

Brief Answer:
Hives/ Urticaria; Oral antihistamine e.g cetrizine

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

I have reviewed the Images. I can see faintly red, raised lesions.

These seem like urticaria/ hives to me. It could be drug induced, most likely due to the pain killer/ antiinflammatory, which you have been taking since for past 3 days.

I suggest you to take an Over the Counter antihistamine e.g tablet cetrizine 10 mg, twice daily for 3-5 days.

Topically you may use a soothing lotion e.g calamine lotion, as and when required.
