Suggest Treatment For Nocturnal Asthma

Question: I experience allergic dry cough if exposed to dry winds, or very cold weather, or if there's a strong smell of some curry, or strong smell of agarbatti, or in congested room with many people, or dust. Since I was a teacher, I had to stand for long and give continuous lectures etc.
Tried Betadine gargles, Hetrazan course, and Sitopaladi Churna, but it gave temporary relief and the dry cough reappears again and again.
Normally the dry cough comes during late night, and I experience chest pain due to lot of cough.
Since I am allergic to many strong doses of medicine like Citrizine, Brufen etc, the medicine that doctor recommends me gives nausea, tiredness.
What can be done to avoid such dry cough, and what to do I get such cough?

Brief Answer:
Most likely nocturnal asthma

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,
I have gone through your, medical history; it suggests that most likely you may be suffering from the nocturnal asthma. You may try combination of fexofenadine with monteleukast once in night to avoid such condition after consulting your doctor.

But to rule out other disease you may go for the
1. X ray Chest PA view.
2. X ray Paranasal Sinuses.
3. Pulmonary function test

For your kind information--->
A dry cough that persists gets worse by cold weather, smell of the allergic substances and occurs along with rapid breathing, fatigue, and chest pain, is more likely a symptom of asthma.
In some people, asthma may occur mostly at night and not during the day. This is known as nocturnal asthma.
