nasal bleeding is expected to stop within half an hours time
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query,
I have read through your query and I would suggest you to do the following:
- sit upright and tilt your head upwards slightly
- pinch over the nose where your nostrils are continuously, for 15-30 minutes
- place ice pack over the bony prominence of your nose for 15- 20 minutes
- you are not advised to take any of the medicines- aspirin or any other pain killers
The nasal bleeding is expected to stop within an hour's time.
If you are on medication like aspirin for any other medical condition, I would suggest you to visit the ER for a proper nasal packing with epinephrine which is done by the physician for proper hemostasis.
In future, if you may experience any dryness which results in scratching or picking the nose, I would suggest you to use any nasal sprays to prevent dryness.
Hope I have answered to your query,
Please feel free to discuss further or else kindly close and accept
Regards
