Brief Answer:
Clinical assesment , wet mount microsopy

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

The vaginal discomfort can be due to a bacterial or fungal infection ,allergic reaction, Bacterial Vaginosis and Yeast infection. Any discharge associated with these symptoms can be sent for wet mount and microscopy to look for a possible cause. They can be treated accordingly and a vaginal culture is seldom required.
Rough intercourse or a local injury can also be the cause of discomfort. Any injury site should be properly washed with antiseptic and kept clean to maintain adequate hygiene and avoid superimposed infections.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
