Question : my aunty XXXXXXX apple hurts and when she presses on her XXXXXXX apple it hurts worse she is 58 years old
Brief Answer:
Considerations
Detailed Answer:
thanks for sending the question.
It is possible that there may be some inflammation under the skin which is putting pressure on this part of her body.
I would suggest some warm compresses to the area. Also I would try not to press too much on this area as this can cause even more information.
It might also be reasonable to try some ibuprofen for a few days to see if this helps alleviate the pain.
If the pain does not improve or if it gets worse she should probably talk to her doctor.she may need to have some type of imaging done to see if there is any fluid collection under the skin which is putting pressure on that part of the body.
Sincerely,
Dr. Galamaga

Brief Answer:
Follow up
Detailed Answer:
this could possibly indicate a narrowing in her esophagus. I think she really should probably make an appointment with her primary care physician for further discussion. She may need a procedure to look inside her esophagus to make sure there is no significant narrowing.
