Suggest Treatment For Pain In The Ankle After Injury

Question: Dear Sir,
I fell down from bike towards left side to me in the month of Sep-2016. I got injury at left ankle . Did scan and found no fracture is observed . Problem is still i am not feeling comfort during steps climbing and any fast movement occurs to the leg.

please suggest me how can i get back my leg as usual like earlier

Hi,

I have read your query.

In my opinion you must get MRI SCAN of ankle joint to detect any ligament injury apart from bony injury.

Please upload it if you have.

If I am your treating doctor, I would first see MRI scan and then act accordingly as there are many options available apart from painkillers and exercise like intra articular steroid injection, plasma rich platelets injection etc.

So you can discuss all this with your orthopedic surgeon also.

Dear Doctor,

Thanks for your reply. I have a small plate in my right hand wrist.. So is it possible to take MRI scan ? if not , please suggest me an alternative solution.
