Question: I have a muscle under my left shoulder blade that cramps and remains tense for long periods of time. What can I do to relieve this pain?

Hi,

I have read your query.

Main treatment for the problem you have is to have hot packs and avoid weightlifting etc.

I also advise my patients to have tab.aceclofenac100mg+thiocolchicoside4mg twice a day by prescription as this medicine is notcover the counter.

But I treat my patients in a different way, that is to have remedies for the problem like you have as these are very helpful and have no side effects.

1.Fill your bath tub with hot water and mix in one cup of Epsom salt, it will relax and provide rest to whole of your body apart from shoulder blade area.

2. You may also drink one cup of tart cherry juice, without adding any sugar, to reduce muscle inflammation and soreness if you have.


3. Many of my patients also get good effects by applications of mixture of equal amounts of freshly grated turmeric with lemon juice and salt.

Apply it to your aching muscles. Leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. Do this twice daily until the pain is gone.

You can use any of the above remedies in addition to medication.
