Question : Sir I am 47 yrs. Last two months i feel pain on my throat while swallowing. Now i feel that something is stuck on my throat & tried it to swallo but it makes me uncomfortable. I have already taken antibiotics roxid for 5 days.

You are most probably having allergic Post nasal discharge .

Thanks for the query.

I have read your query , reviewed your medications and understand your concern.

After reading your clinical history it appears that you are most probably having
allergic (PND) post nasal discharge causing pain & stuck feeling in throat .

If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice you
salt water gargle twice daily ,
Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination at night like tab montek Lc / Tab telekast M ,
anti inflammatory analgesic Paracetamol + Ibuprofen combination twice daily after meal like Tab ibugesic plus &
Tab Rantac twice daily before meal .

Use complete treatment plan for 7 days , you will get relief .

You will need prescription for medications.

Sir what about obstruction ? sometime nothing is there and no pain but sometime it feels that something obstructed and i only try to sollow it.
Ple tell me
Shell i go for x-ray ?
What is this obstruction ?
After taking these medicine it will be ok ?

Xray will come normal .

Sensation in throat lt sided DNSC sp.

Rx
Tab LC2 5mg. X______1
Narocl ear nose drops
2-2-2
Steam inhalation.
X7d

Now ple tell me which tab should i take yours or s'jung dr. Prescription ?

Both Treatment is almost in same direction as advised by me .

You can use Tab LC , Nasoclear nose drop & steam inhalation for which you have presciption.

I would also add salt water gargle twice daily and tab Ibugesic & tab Rantac to get early relief. Discuss with your treating doctor.
