Question : Hi doctor,
My father is 61yrs old and yesterday night he felt like some one is hitting by hammer in the chest area and after sometimes it was normal. we afraid about this could you please advice
No history of medicines
BP and sugar is normal
weight is 85kg

These kind of symptoms are likely to be related to heart in his age. it could have been angina due lack of blood supply to heart or could be palpitations due fast or irregular heartbeats. so he need to see a cardiologist or physician immediately and some basic test such as Ecg Echo and may be TMT or other test as guided by basic tests. Occasionally these can be due to anxiety nightmare or gastritis but that should be lower in list can be considered only after ruling out cardiac problem
