Suggest Treatment For Persistent Cough

Question: As we are giving the earlier proscribed medication, please suggest
can we increase the Period of Nebulizer
What else we can do
She is coughing every second since morning
Existing medication have any side effect ??

Get done chest x ray and PFT.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your concern.
Lung infection can cause similar symptoms. So better to get done chest x ray to rule out lung infection.
If chest x ray is normal, get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test).
This will tell you about severity of the disease. And treatment of bronchitis is based on severity only.
You may need additional inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
