Question: My right nostril consistently has a bloody hard mucus. I have not been able to eat for 3 weeks due to a metalic taste in my mouth.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

After reading your clinical history it appears that you are most probably having
chronic sinusitis with post nasal discharge (PND) giving rise to metallic taste in the mouth.

If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice
investigation like CT Scan Nose with sinuses to know extend of disease .

Till then , use antiseptic Mouth Wash twice daily ,
Plenty of fluids ,
Saline nasal spray or rinse thrice daily ,
Antihistaminic Tab Claritin at night &
anti inflammatory tab Paracetamol .

You will get relief .
