Question : I have got wrist fracture on right hand.
For that I have consulted a doctor in XXXXXXX who asked me to wear a hand and wrist support bank and also gave me a gel to apply on wrist area which to me seems like a pain killer.
I am feeling the pain since last 2 months and I consulted a doctor for this a month back.
Its been quiet a while since i am wearing the support band at night but its not able fix the issue.
In the morning when i wake the pain would be excessive and wrist movement is not easy. The pain would gradually decrease as the day moved on.
Please let me know what can be possible remedy for this.
Regards,
XXXX

Hello Doctor,
Apologies for putting the question wrong.
I actually don't have wrist fracture. What I have is stress fracture as doctor told me.
Which he mentioned might be because of excessive typing on laptop which my job of software job demands.
The pain at point on wrist which is on line of thumb.
There is bone fracture as such and its just that a point on my wrist is strained.
Please let me know i need to provide more information.
Thanks a lot for taking time for my query.

Brief Answer:
You may need ergonomic correction to reduce your wrist pain
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have read your query,
You may need ergonomic correction to reduce your wrist pain as you are working for long time on computer.
You need wrist stable mouse with pad.
Pain can aggravate due to carpal tunnel disease which is common in computer users.
Continue using splint for support.
Use of physiotherapy machine like IFT and TENS can reduce your pain and swelling, you can ask your physio for wax bath therapy.
Use ice packs to reduce swelling, inflammation and pain.
For early healing you can take Tab celin [vit C] and antioxidant with anti-inflammatory [Tab enzomac plus].
If required you may need MRI wrist.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care.
