Brief Answer:
A mild case of food poisoning

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the follow up and clarifications.

It sounds like indigestion and mild food poisoning
*what colour are the loose stools? How many episodes?
I recommend :
-wait it out for another day.
-avoid spicy, oily, sugary foods and milk
-take bland diet and drink plenty of fresh water throughout the day
-avoid caffeine and carbonated drinks.
-have small but frequent (every 3 hrs) meal which are easily digestible (bread, white rice, apples carrots, for instance)
-Have yougurt with active cultures thrice a day or take a lactobacillus supplement twice a day till this settles.
-avoid alcohol

If this persists or worsens beyond 2 more days, see a doctor for a stool exam and antibiotics, blood tests if necessary.
Ideally this should settle in 48 hrs. As symptoms are not severe, I suggest you consider my above recommendations for 2 more days and see if it helps. If you pain is interrupting your routine, drotaverine/dicyclomine and pantoprazole foe 2 days can help relieve discomfort.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Hope you feel better soon.
Wish you good health.
Regards,
Dr. Shuba Hariprasad
