Question : When should foreskin detract? My son is seven and the skin doesn't retract at all. Is this normal?
Brief Answer:
He needs Circumcision .
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your seven years old son is unable to retract his foreskin over glans penis.
This is due to congenital Phimosis .
Normally in children foreskin should retract completely over glans penis by the age of 2 years .Please consult qualified General surgeon for clinical examination to confirm the diagnosis.
He needs to get circumcised .This is a simple surgery and gives good and everlasting results .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
