Question: a 30 year male patient diagnosed as liver Parenchymal disease with portal hypertension with pan gastritis with esophageal varies. pt is alcoholic since 5 years. kindly comment whether alcohol consumption is lead to said ailment or not?

Yes this liver parenchymal disease is cirrhosis which lead to portal hypertension. Portal hypertension cause esophageal varices with portal gastropathy (not gastritis).
