Brief Answer:
Oral calcium pantothenate & topical melitane

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query and i have understood your concern.

Premature greying affects scalp commonly, however, beard is the next most common site.
Greying of hair is mainly under genetic influence. It is said to be premature if greying starts before the age of 30 in asians/ indians and before the age of 25 in westerners.

There is no treatment which will guarantee complete reversal of premature greying, however, various treatment options comprising both oral and topical forms have been studied and have proved effective in arresting as well as reversing premature greying.

Oral Calcium pantothenate and Para Amino Benzoic Acid Or PABA have been used by dermatologists with positive results in premature greying.

The dose that is usually prescribed is 200-300 mg, once daily for at least 6 months or even longer and can be tried in your case.

Topical 1% Melitane is also claimed to be effective in reversing premature greying.
It is available as a gel & has to be applied once daily at the roots. Results may take 2-3 months.

These are prescription products and therefore should be used under supervision of a dermatologist/ skin specialist.

I suggest that you visit a dermatologist in your vicinity for the needful.

Brief Answer:
No direct role of Zinc or B complex deficiency in premature greying

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

No, Zinc deficiency Or Vitamin B deficiency has no direct Or proven role in premature greying.
Premature greying is mainly genetically determined.

There is good probability that the medicines which I had suggested would be effective in arresting and probably also reversing premature greying.
