Thank you for getting back. Your symptoms are suggestive of prominent vein. I would suggest you to once visit hospital and get ultrasound of the swelling done. It will confirm if its a vessel or not. Secondly, do mention the sonologist to comment on competency of deep veins of that leg as well. In some individuals if the veins are incompetent then even then such problem occurs. Further management will depend upon the examination results.
