Brief Answer:
Looks like a fungal infection.Do not use steroid combinations

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have checked the images. Indeed it looks like a fungal rash to me. Have you applied Clotrimazole lotion or in some other form? Application of lotion should be better. The next thing to ask is whether there was beclomethasone combined alongwith (say Candid-B)? The latter makes the lesion frequently return. I would await the response to these questions. Additionally, taking cetirizine tablet for a few days should be helpful.

Brief Answer:
I need to ask how long it has been present.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Here is what you should do:
* Continue applying Clotrimazole lotion. Do not use combinations. Apply the lotion thrice or four times a day.
* Let me know how long it has been going on and at what frequency you have been using clotrimazole lotion.
* Also use aloe vera or some other emollient or moisturizing lotion.
* Give her cetirizine. Let me know the body weight and I will let you know the appropriate dose.
* I would need to ask if she has dandruff. Often such a condition is associated with what is called seborrheic dermatitis. Dandruff is seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp.
* Ask her to use ketoconazole shampoo (comes in many brands like Nizoral or ones containing ZPTO) twice or thrice weekly. Apply the shampoo foam also over this affected area.
* Oral antifungals would have to be considered if application of clotrimazole does not help.

Brief Answer:
Just use the lotion and it should go away soon.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks or the response. I would suggest application of clotrimazole lotion several times a day. Syrup Cetirizine (Relent) 5 ml once daily should be right to be given to her.
