Question: i got what the doctor called a heat rash about 1 1/2 years ago. the doc gave me penicillian and a cream nystatin/triamcinol . It went away for about 2 months then came back. as long as i use the cream it does not itch, but remains red in the crease between the groin and thigh area about one and a half inch wide and from the pubic hair line down. It is smooth but remains red. Never had any problems growning up. I am now 58 would like to be able to go on with my life.

Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.
I have read your query. I understand your concern.
As per details, it seems that you are suffering from a condition called Tinea cruri et corporis. It is fungal infection of skin involving the body folds and other parts of body. It is characterised by red colored itchy rash over body with annular morphology.
Topival steroid like Triamcinolone temporary gived relief but is not the treatment for tgis condition.
I would advise you to upload the images of rash so that I can actually visualize the lesions and advice you accordingly.
Thanks
