Question : I recently noticed red spots( like a rash ) on my lower leg, they are about the size of a dime and they itch. there are only three spots. I tried different creams but nothing seems to make them go away.
Brief Answer:
Possible Diagnosis: Eczema, Fungal infections or Ptyriasis Rosea
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the query at HealthcareMagic
The dome sized itchy rash may be due to eczema ,fungal infections or Ptyriasis Rosea.
It is difficult to give a definite diagnosis without doing a physical examination.
Investigations including Microscopic examination of skin scrapings are also required to confirm the diagnosis.
All these conditions are benign and usually subsides within few weeks of appropriate treatment.
Please consult your primary care provider for further evaluation and management.
