Suggest Treatment For Running Nose And Fever

Question: My 12months daughter has running nose and seems a bit of fever. Can I give Sinarest syrup to her? If yes then how much and how many times.

Hello

Thanks for asking on this platform

Sinarest contains paracetamol(125 mg/5ml),along with pseudo ephedrine and chlorpheniramine.
Here paracetamol is antipyratic/analgesic,pseudoephedrine is decongestant and chlorpheniramine is anti allergic.
The dose of sinarest for 1 year old baby is 5 ml and it can be given 3 times a day. Usually it needs to be given for 5-7 days depending on the condition.
If conditions worsens like breathing difficulty, persistent fever or decreased feeding please consult your pediatrician.

Is it not unsafe to give it to child? Secondly is it 5ml or 0.5ml?

So you can give it safely.
If you have syrup then the dose will be 5 ml while it is 0.5 ml for sinarest drops.
