Is It Safe To Take Medicines Like: Ascoril, Sinarest During Pregnancy?

Hi, am 16 weeks pregnant have a throat pain, cold and cough. Doctor has advised me a cough syrup expectorant bronchodilator mucolytic called " Ascoril " and tablet called " Sinarest " which is a paracetemol .
Should I be taking the above mentioned medicines
