                                            Question : Hello doc,
15 years back I had 2 moles on face which I tried removing it thru garlic and calcium hydroxide mixture paste which left ugly scars which actually look like burn marks.they are pigmented ,change colour a/c to Sun exposure n sometimes itchy.I have thru 2 sitting of fraction abrasion laser but I saw no change.should I go for co2 laser or is there any other treatment.I'm confused n upset

You can go for CO2 laser or cryotherapy for removal of the moles. You need not worry. Any of these two procedures can be adopted.

Thanks for uploading the pic(s) - checked them. Unfortunately you cannot expect better outcomes. You need to understand that healing occurs by scar tissue and not the original tissue. So, after the intervention, the healed wound would never have the same outlook, tensility or functionality as the original area. You will have to bear with it. There are creams like Mederma Intense Gel which may be applied. But I do not expect impressive results.
