                                    Brief Answer:
It may be due to infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Foreskin sometimes become swollen due to infection.
In paraphimosis, it swells once it is retracted back and doesn't move forward.
You should consult your Surgeon and get examined clinically.
I prescribe Antibiotic like Clindamycin capsule along with anti inflammatory tablet to my patients with similar complaints. If there is no response, Circumcision has to be done.
Hope I answered your query.
If you have any questions, I will clarify further
Wish you good health.
Regards

                                    Dear Sir,
After using the gel for 3 days the swelling is considerably reduced and now foreskin is movable both forward and backward. Should I continue the Clotrimazole for few more days or visit the Surgeon. If I follow your prescription then for how many days and doses per day.
Thanks.

You can continue using Clotrimazole for few days.
I prescribe Antibiotic and anti inflammatory tablets for 5 days initially.
