Suggest Treatment For Seborrheic Keratosis

default
Posted on Thu, 9 Jul 2015
Question: I had a skin screening a while ago and this spot on my back was diagnosed as keratosis. It has gotten a bit larger; I apply cream. It likely is, but I wanted a second opinion whether I should have it looked at again. It is rather flat. Can I send a picture?

I uploaded the picture under new reports. Thank you!

Brief Answer:
Seborrheic keratosis; it is harmless

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have gone through your query and I have also reviewed the Image.

It is a seborrheic keratosis.
Seborrhoeic keratoses are harmless/ benign. They may thicken over the years and appear rough, warty surface.
They are non-scaly and are asymptomatic.

You may get rid of it by either CO 2 Laser Or Radiofrequency cautery Or it may be left alone as it is.

Regards
