Brief Answer:
She needs CT KUB and urinalysis

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what your sister had gone through.

Based on the history you have shared, she needs reevaluation on an urinalysis to look for any on going urinary tract infection which may follow after a recent surgery or even is usual in females. If any puss cells or found its better to culture urine culture and sensitivity to look for the causative bug and she may need antibiotics course in that case.

Also look for a repeat radiography with utrsound or preferably CT scan KUB to look for any left out stone or concretions, signs of hyrdonephrosis or kidney swelling. It may need re exploration in such cases. It's better to get a second opinion by another urologist with detailed records and old scans.

Meanwhile ask her to drink more water and OTC analgesics like acetaminophen alongwith anti spasmodic like drotaverine may be helpful. It's better to avoid long term NSAIDS pain killer injection unless needed in extreme conditions.

Wishing her a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
