Question : I am a 60 year old female and have been feeling poorly all week. Stomach pain, fever ONLY in the evening, and I really feel it when it comes on. Poor appetite and stomach ache. We were with our 2 and 4 year old granddaughters last weekend.

I am so sorry to hear about this down feeling and the fever you have reported. You seem not to have reported any other specific symptoms making this more likely to be a viral infection/flu. I will suggest that you take tylenol, eat well and rest enough. Also, increased fluid intake and exercise are helpful in the recovery process.
Finally, I will like to know what the temperature readings are. Fever from viral infections rarely go beyond 101.3F. If it is higher than this, I might suggest that we get some laboratory investigations done. Kindly communicate the values to me for more insights and guidance.

Thank you, forgot to say that have had stomach ache and reduced appetite, but no other not normal bowel functions. Just no energy. Stomach and the fever shows up in the evening-----the last three nights.
