Suggest Treatment For Severe Anxiety With Constipation While On Zopiclone
Question: I have an anxiety issue so it my have something to do with the following symptoms. The past few weeks I have had problems with constipation which I thought was medication I was on a low dose of zopiclone I took myself off the zopiclone and I was prescribed Diazpam with \the same outcome. I started taking sarokot to help with the constipation. I decided to come off the Diazapam and the sarakot. I have been getting the urge to pass a stool sometime,s it happens sometimes it doesn't, it always feels as though I have not completely evacuated all the faeces I have been using a glycerine suppository occasionally. This morning I passed a lot of clear liquid from back passage

Many of your symptoms are directly related to the side effects if DIAZEPAM and SAROKOT.
Both these drugs cause constipation as their predominant side effect.
It is important to reduce the dose of the drug and by giving drug holiday once a week.
Instead of Glycerine suppository, I generally prescribe oral syrup of SMUTH/Lactulose which can work effectively.
Consume dietary fiber in the form of apples, oats and pomegranate.
