Question : My 10 years old daughter (weight 40) is suffering from high fever since 2 days and now also from cough.
We are giving her 10 ml of crosin DS every after 5-6 hours aling with Zyrcold syrup thrice a day.
Is this right course?
Im also told that rather than syrup, i should give her half tab of Crosin Advanced tab for quick recovery. Is this right?
Please provide expert counsel.

Brief Answer:
Crocin DS 12ml
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Health care magic.
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. The medicines are right except for that the dose of Crocin DS should be 12ml per dose (15mg/kg/dose). Crocin Advanced need not be given.
Steam inhalation would provide relief.

Brief Answer:
May take a few more days.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. I understand your concerns but such fevers can last upto 7 days. If it lasts more than 7 days you need to get his blood tested. You need not worry prior to that. Hopefully the fever will gradually subside.
