Question: I had my first attack of gout 6 months ago in France. I was prescribed Colchimax which was successful.
I am having a second attack now - i have been prescibed an NSAID - Indochin, which has helped greatly.
I have some Cochimax tablets left. Should I take these also. I am 84 and on holiday in Australia.

Brief Answer:
If Indocin helps then no need to take Colchmax.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. If indocin (indomethacin) helps then no need to take colchimax (Colchicine). Colchicine is given to abort an acute gout. So if acute symptoms are disappearing then no need to go for colchicine.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
