Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. If you give more information about your problem it will be more helpful in identifying the problem.
Finax (finasteride) is given for androgenetic alopecia.

Please specify your sex female or male?
How is the pattern of hair loss? Is it more on frontal and crown area/
Is there hair thinning?
Have you done blood test to rule out anaemia , B12 and Vitamin D deficiency and hypothyroidism?
If you are female , Is your periods regular?
Are you vegetarian?
What topical medications or shampoos you are using?

Please update with answers to above questions.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Most likely androgenetic alopecia ( male pttern hair loss)

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.

Thank you for your follow up query.

Your problem is most likely androgenetic alopecia ( male pattern hair loss). This is due to high amount of DHT (dihydrotestosterone) on scalp. Finasteride helps to decrease it. But I don't recommend this for an young guy like you. This can cause side effects like erectile dysfunction and deceased libido.

Minoxidil solution is an FDA approved treatment for this. You can use minoxidil 5 % for this. This should be applied twice daily. You have to apply more than 4 months to get some benefit and it should be continued also.

You can also use Capixyl gel which is a biomimetic signal peptide. This helps to decrease hair fall and increase hair growth.

You should also use ketoconazole containing shampoo twice weekly.

You can also use saw palmetto topical solution which is a good DHT blocker.

Check for vitamin B12 and vitamin D levels in blood. As you are a vegetarian you are more prone to get these deficiencies. This can increase hair fall. In case of deficiency you should take supplements of these also.

Get proper exercise daily. Get stress relaxation. You can do breathing exercises for stress relaxation.

You can take hair grow supplements like follihair which has essential vitamins for hair growths like biotin.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if any thing not clear.
Thanks.
