Suggest Treatment For Severe Hair Loss

Question: As per our custom, we need to take bath over our head after intercourse. My wife is worried that if she bathes very often over the head she will lose a lot hair. Due to this, it is affecting our sex life.
Is this a myth or fact that bathing over the head often can result in losing hair?

I am dr.kakkar, dermatologist.

Head wash more than once during the day and even shampooing does not lead to increased hair fall. Its a myth that frequent head wash leads to increased shedding.

Approx how much ahir she loses per day? less than 50, 50-100 or more than 100?

I would like to know any history of preceding acute medical illness?or surgery?

Is there a family history of hair loss and balding in parents or siblings or relatives?

Any history of ongoing drug intake? i.e Is she on some medication for an unrelated illness?

Any history of thyroid disorder?

No history of acute medical illness or surgery.

No family history of hair loss and balding in parents or siblings or relatives.

Iron and Biotin supplement and tincture for stimulating regrowth

Hi. Thank you.

I dont think she has a worrisome hair fall. This could be seasonal or nutritional/ deficiency.
I suggest her to take an iron supplement e.g Dexorange once daily. In addition she may take a Biotin supplement e.g Tba Revilus Or Tab. H-Vit forte once daily.
Topically she may apply a stimulant of hair growth cycle e.g Tincture of benzyl nicotinate, vitamin K and salicylic acid (Folica Or folifast hair tincture), once daily at night.
