Brief Answer:
Inguinal hernia can be the reason.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

From your description, inguinal hernia seems to be the most probable reason of your symptoms. If so, the burning and pain should be more intense when standing and coughing or lifting heavy objects.
Some protruding lump can appear from time to time.

I suggest you to consult general surgeon. In case of doubts, ultrasound can be done to confirm it.
Hernia can be fixed with a surgery.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
