Suggest Treatment For Side Effects Of Wellbutrin
Question: My sister is bipolar and has been on Lamictal for about two weeks. Before this, she was on welbutrin for about a week. She was having seizures, cold sweats and naseau since she started the welbutrin. She is still having cold sweat and is naseaous often. Are these lingering side effects from the welbutrin even though it's been a couple weeks since she's been off of the welbutrin?

Bupropion can cause side effects like nausea, vomiting etc but these are not very common. The symptoms reduce once individuals stop the drug. She stopped taking the drug 2 weeks back and I don't think the symptoms are there because of Bupropion use. She should be evaluated properly for the symptoms. Hypotension (low blood pressure) can also cause nausea, vomiting etc symptoms.
