Question: hi I am not getting sleep at night.

Hello and thanks for your query.

I shall make an effort to provide you with good professional recommendations specific to your questions.
As you have mentioned you are not sleeping at night, this indicate towards the diagnosis of insomnia. It is when you have poor quality and/or quantity of sleep, despite adequate opportunity to sleep, which to a certain extent affects your daily activity.
Causes may include stress, environmental changes, alcohol out any other substance abuse, caffeine, frequent daytime napping, using the bed for watching TV and certain medical condition like COPD, nasal obstruction, etc.
There first step would be finding the cause and addressing it.
Then I would have suggested you for maintaining sleep schedule, avoiding day time sleeping, if you do, avoid alcohol, smoking, caffeine and also to resolve stress and anxiety before going to bed.
I would have treated you with tab zolpidem 5 mg orally once daily immediately before bedtime for 5 to 6 days and would have asked you to review after week.
