Question : I have had a small bump by my vagina and I have been trying to keep it real clean but it still hurts and I have had it for a couple of weeks

I have gone through your query. It can be folliculitis or bartholinitis. If you send a picture of it then it will be more helpful in identifying.
Applying hot fomentation with a towel will be helpful. You can also apply betadine ointment locally. Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the area. You can use warm water or saline for this.
In case of any puss collection inside incision and drainage should be done.

Folliculitis is hair bed infection. Bartholinitis is bartholin gland infection. These glands are located on either side of vaginal opening. Bumps can occur by blocking of ducts of these glands by infection. Usually most bumps on vagina or labia are due to these.
Hot fomentation is applying heat with warm wet towel. You can take hot water dip a towel in it and then shrink the towel and drain water. After that you can apply on the bumps. This will help to relieve the inflammation and pain.
