Suggest Treatment For Sore Skin On Arms And Face

Question: I have symptoms of sore skin on arms , face, back, no rash sore ears, not aching , sore armpits,. When I put these symptoms in it comes up mononucleosis. If I have a mild case of that should I be worried about contact with an 18 mth old grandchild

I understand your concern.These symptoms are very vague and correlates many other diseases along with mononucleosis, until diagnosed.These could just be flu symptoms in which we get body aches and a feeling of unwell is very common.

Mononucleosis has specific symptoms such a high fever, fatigue, sore throat,swollen lymph nodes,headache. rash etc. I would suggest you to see a physician and get evaluated for the same.

Yes, you should avoid contact with your grandchild since it is contagious by sneezing or coughing ,though not as contagious as influenza.Meanwhile please follow these;

Drink plenty of water and fruit juices(Stay hydrated)
Take OTC pain relievers such as Tylenolol
Gargle with salt water(if sore throat)
