Question : I have kidney disease-stage 3, but creatine levels have lowered to 190 and stabilized for last 6 months....In addition to life style changes are there any supplements you would recommend to further delay possible future need for dialysis?

Brief Answer:
There are no supplements!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

Though not the best of information you would have loved to hear, there are no proven supplements to help with declining renal failure. Treatment consists in identifying and adequately managing aggravating factors such as hypertension, diabetes, dehydration, etc. alongside dietary modifications. If they were any supplements that had proven efficacy, they would have long become the standard of care.

I hope this addresses your query fully. I Wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
