Question: I have had a semen culture and it shows presence of staphylococcus aureus and e Coli. What is the recommended treatment given my sensitivity to antibiotics.

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have done your semen culture which revealed Staphylococcal and E Coli infection .The organisms are sensitive to Doxicycline and Nitrofurantoin.

Please start taking Doxicycline 100mg and Nitrofuradantin 100mg twice daily for 3-4 weeks and repeat semen culture after completion of treatment
