You should repeat your test.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
In my opinion first you should go and repeat your thyroid profile.
Your reports are suggestive of sub clinical hypothyroidism.
In my opinion you SHOULD TAKE medications along with strict diet regime and exercise.
If you are not interested in medication then some advice from my side-
Increase iodine intake in your diet and decrease fluoride.
take more protein and fat. Avoid soy product.
Avoid use of non- stick cookware.
Use probiotic, zinc, arginine, selenium, tyrosine in your diet.
use coconut oil, garlic and ginger more.
Regular exercise and yoga.
Keep your estrogen in normal level
Avoid vegetables like cabbage, beet root, brinjal, udad dal in your diet regime.
Avoid stress
If after doing all this for three months your TSH level will decrease then you can avoid medication.
Otherwise go for medication after consulting your doctor.
Hope I have answered your query if you have further questions I will be happy to help you.
Good luck.
Regards
Dr. Richa
Usually continued life long.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You are most welcome.
No, the drug usually continued for life long. The reason is TSH controlled within normal range only because of drug. When you stop the medication then TSH will again rise.
Hope this will help you, feel free to ask more questions.
