Question : My belly button is swollen. I have no pain or any other symptoms. I am not sure how long it has been swollen. It is about 3/4" by 1/2". It is soft to the touch.

Brief Answer:
Hernia seems most probable reason.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Swollen belly button is usually caused by a hernia in this area. As there is some fat inside the hernia, you may feel no pain or any other symptoms.
I suggest you to consult general surgeon. Surgical repair of this hernia should be considered.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
