Cortisone is a glucocorticoid hormone produced by adrenal cortex.

When it's shutdown, it is an emergency and life threatening condition called Adrenal crisis.

Symptoms include :
- severe weakness and fatigue
- low blood pressure and sugar levels
- abdominal pain
- dehydration
- coma
- headache
- high fever
- dizziness
- increased respiratory and heart rate
- sweating in palms of hands
