Question: Hi I need help from a neurologist. I have tension in my skull, the muscles around my chin to some extent are not as firm and pronounced in terms of making fine movements and some areas around the eyebrows. I have tension in the skull and have had pressure in the front of the skull and back and still even some of the muscles in the back of the skull do not seem like they are activating. Perhaps Ibam not pressing properly or trying to see I am not sure. I have had heaviness in the legs and woken up with numbness in my hand or another part of the body like the right calf. The hand was the left hand. I don't know if it had to do with skeeping in an uncomfortable postion. I I have also been exposed to marihuana and poasibly other druugs but marihuana I could smell in the apartment. Please tell me what I can do.

Brief Answer:
Tension type headaches.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again and thanks for asking me directly.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Headaches you describe fit more in the tension type headaches category.

Breathing in for a long time fumes of marijuana in a relatively closed environment may result in headaches.

Fatigue, stress, insufficient sleep and food, low electrolytes in the other hand may result in facial muscles weakness and legs heaviness.

If the numbness in your hand and calf was an isolated episode and you noticed it after waking up, it is probably related to bad sleeping position.

If numbness is a periodic issue, and there are other neurological symptoms, further evaluation is warranted.

I don't see any reason to worry more than necessary about your problems, there seems to be not a dangerous condition, however, getting evaluated directly by a Neurologist will give more insight on your condition.

In mean time, until you get evaluated by your Neurologist, exercising, avoiding alcohol, eating healthy and staying well hydrated should help improve your overall condition.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Kind regards.

Thank you doctor. The problem is that the hand episodes were a few times like 3 in total and there is strangness about the facial muscles as the fine movements are not there that used to be. I thank you for your answer. Iss it possible it could be any condition thhat you could think ofnwhen nf isolated area numbness when waking, stiffness in skull and loss of fine muscle movement in face in like eyebrows and heaviness in legs for a period of time. Also could I take any medication or supplements to help me. I am really scared. I also have lost fine feeling in the face and skull.

Brief Answer:
Neurologist evaluation to understand better your condition.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

Since there is a history of marijuana and possible other drugs, it is well known that drugs exposure could result in temporary neurological and psychological problems.

Neurological evaluation is necessary to differentiate between degerative conditions such multiple sclerosis, anxiety disorder, etc.

In my opinion, you should feel better with time.

If the hand numbness was notable during these marijuana exposures, this could be the most likely cause, however, Neurologist evaluation will shed more light on your condition.

Hope I helped you.

Greetings.
