Brief Answer:
Specific treatment to be given based on biopsy findings, remain stress free

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for writing into health care magic.
This is Dr.Riyanka, glad to answer your query.

1. Terminal ileal ulcer is a condition where there are small surface wounds seen over the inner lining of the area where the small intestine joins the large intestine.

2. It can present with diarrhea and change in stools consistency as reported by you.

3. Ciplox TZ and Norflox TZ are antibiotics and help in elimination of any colonizing bacteria in the intestine which might be causing an infection leading to diarrhea.

4. The biopsy taken from ulcer is a step towards confirmation of condition and is one of the requirements to know the types of cells occurring in the ulcer region.

5. Once biopsy results are known, conditions commonly associated with terminal ileal ulcer like Crohns disease, chronic ileitis and other inflammatory bowel disease or bowel TB.

6. Specific treatment with medications including steroids, anti ulcer agents, specific antimicrobials and immunomodulators will be given once the condition is confirmed.

7. Most conditions show remission and relapse with disease free intervals and reducing the amount of mental stress in anxiety in daily life prevents aggravation of symptoms.

8. Keeping in mind the chronicity of conditions causing terminal ileal ulcers, regular follow up and repeating investigations helps in controlling the condition and avoiding frequent relapses.

If there are any more clarifications kindly write back to me.

You will get well soon. Please don't worry.
Thank you,
Dr.Riyanka
