Suggest Treatment For Throat Pain And Cold In A Child

My daughter is 15 months old down with cold. I have given her Zyrcold (4ml) one hour back. But now she is crying continuously and I think she is having throat pain. Please suggest if I can give her IMOL Syrup. It is night time here and I don't really have many options at home.
Yes,you can give IMOL syrup
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I can understand your concern.
Cold and cough can make the child irritable due to nasal blockage or throat pain.
Zyrcold contains ambroxol a mucolytic(sputum thinning agent) and cetrizine(an antiallergic). You can continue giving zyrcold as advised by your pediatrician.
If you have nasal saline drop, put one drop in each nostril to relieve the nasal blockage.
Imol contains ibuprofen 100 mg/5ml.The average weight of 15 months old child is around 10-12 kg.So you can give 5 ml of Imol syrup. It works as an analgesic and antipyratic.
In case irritability persists or there is any respiratory distress, don't wait and consult your nearby emergency.
Wishing for your baby's speedy recovery.
Regards
