Question : Twenty years ago, I was diagnosed with benign tumors and cyst in both breast, one of the cyst or tumors has become extremely inflamed, tender and burns. There also appears to be a bruise. Can cyst rupture?

Cyst can rather become infected and turn into an abscess. It is also possible to have a cancer which may look like an inflammation (inflammatory breast cancer). That is why, should visit your doctor as soon as possible. Ultrasound and biopsy should be done.
