Suggest Treatment For Upper Respiratory Tract Infection

Possible upper respiratory tract infection-likely sinusitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam.
I understand your query and concern.
As per your clinical symptoms you possibly seem to have an acquired mixed viral and bacterial infection of the upper respiratory tract.
Its very important that you prevent the spread of infection to lower respiratory tract.
For this I advise you to have a 2 dimensional echo to evaluate the status of the AAS and PFO.
In case if the echo within the normal range, simple course of antibiotics like Moxifloxacin 400 mg once a day for 5 days will help.
This drug has to be supplemented with tab levocetrizine 10 mg for the same no of days.
Co existent breathlessness have to be treated with drugs like theophylline only if the echo is abnormal.
All the drugs mentioned have to be taken under strict medical prescription.
Thank you.
